NEIGHBORS Zine

Have you experienced a special connection with a neighbor in your building or block in NYC? We’re seeking essays, anecdotes, interviews, opinions, poetry, photography, illustrations, how-tos, short snippets, and more. We’re interested in unique stories of support, unlikely friendships formed, one-of-a-kind memories, neighbor meet-cutes, hot takes and quips — and anything else you think would be the perfect fit for a zine celebrating neighbors.<div><br></div><div>We’re prioritizing strong writing, compelling storytelling, and fun moments that lean into the joys of community and unexpected connection. We welcome writing that explores tensions and contradictions, but with an optimistic lens — our tone is hopeful and heartwarming, funny and fresh.</div><div><br></div><div>Max word count is 1,200 words, though 500-600 words is the sweet spot. Much shorter anecdotes and snippets are also welcomed. </div><div><br><div><br></div></div>
