Marginal Error is a multimedia magazine accepting works from those of all backgrounds with mediums ranging from paintings to political essays & more! If you are looking for an inclusive magazine of changemakers, check us out!

Marginal Error is a multi-media magazine open to all people!

We are two students invested in uplifting voices, especially those that are too often written off. We want this to be a space for anybody who’s dissatisfied with the world to voice their dissatisfaction in whatever way works for them. Your frustrations are valid, and you are not alone.

You shape the content! We look for honesty in art and good faith in dialogue.

To build on a quote from The Medium is the Massage (1967):

“There is absolutely no inevitability as long as there is a willingness to think”, a willingness to listen, and a willingness to act.”

Our theme for issue zero, "Human Hands" means anything that you connects you to your humanity, or anything that you associate with humanity. In a world so desperate to emancipate from its humanity, we are looking for pieces that are raw, moving, and real to the human experience.

Since the deadline is in pride month, we absolutely encourage you send us queer work - it doesn't necessarily have to be "Human Hands" related, although the two often coincide.

Email us at marginalerrorr@gmail.com for questions (no that's not an error[r]). You can also find us on Instagram @marginal.error

We are also including a "letter for the editors" section, so feel free to talk or ask questions, and we'll do our best to respond!

Happy submitting!
