Leading Edge is published twice a year and has an open submission policy, aiming to aid new writers by providing detailed feedback on their work. The magazine accepts submissions of fiction, poetry, non-fiction, and art, with specific guidelines for each category. Fiction submissions should be at least 1,000 words, with a preference for stories under 10,000 words, though stories up to 15,000 words are considered. Poetry should reflect both literary value and popular appeal, dealing with science-fiction or fantasy themes.
