Brandeis University

A literary magazine for undergraduate writers in the United States

Founded in Fall 1991, Laurel Moon is Brandeis University's oldest (and only national) literary publication. Prior to Spring 2018, Laurel Moon published literary work of all genres written by Brandeis University students.

In its new incarnation, Laurel Moon is a national online magazine publishing fiction and artwork by undergraduates from across the country.

Laurel Moon is pleased to offer two prizes for Brandeis University undergraduate writers, the Grossbardt Memorial Poetry Prize and the Dafna Zamarripa-Gesundheit Fiction Prize.

Any piece published in the magazine by a Brandeis University undergraduate will be automatically considered for these prizes by a judge determined by the Brandeis University Department of English.
