La Rotonde Review is an online indie literary magazine devoted to passionate poetry and prose poetry, with a timeless sensibility

La Rotonde Review takes its name from the famed Montparnasse café where writers and poets such as T. S. Eliot and Ernest Hemingway reunited to create and discuss their work, and which long supported bohemian, often struggling creatives.
Our aim is much the same: to offer a space where high-quality poetry and prose poetry is celebrated, and poets from all backgrounds are supported.

We are looking forward to reading poems that explore the concept of dissolution from the self into another: erasure and revealing, all at once. Be it romantic love, sacrificing parenting, a loyalty that costs you everything, or something else - the theme is yours to explore. Please read carefully our guidelines.

DISSOLUTION - an anthology

We’re looking forward to reading poems shaped, in some way, by one or more particular colors. We don’t necessarily mean literal odes to colors (though we’d probably take it if the poem is irresistible!), but rather poems saturated with color: think poems about someone’s unforgettable eyes… or maybe the shifting hues of the night and daytime sky, lush forests, blue-green seas, or even the color of a cherished object. Colors representing something figuratively, like an emotion or a memory; perhaps as a means of creation. The possibilities are endless.
