For reviews and commentary essays, we prefer to receive emailed pitches, though we will also review drafts submitted through our submissions manager.

While there are no strict length requirements, the poetry editors prefer to read at least three pages of work.

If you would like to write a review, please send a pitch, no longer than 300 words. Reviews may vary in length from regular book reviews (1200–1800 words) to review essays (2000–5000 words, for our Commentary section).
