Chaski Review is a literary journal dedicated to publishing poetry, prose, interviews, visual art, and translations that embody the values of exchange, experimentation, multilingualism, and transnational imagination. We welcome submissions that do not fit neatly into traditional categories, encouraging work that resists categorization. Our mission includes a commitment to inclusivity and diversity, ensuring that all voices are heard and valued. We accept simultaneous submissions but request notification if a piece is accepted elsewhere. Our editorial team is volunteer-run and operates without financial compensation, focusing instead on fostering a community of writers and artists who share our vision. Accepted contributors receive a complimentary issue of the journal. We are committed to creating a space of care, critique, and cultural exchange, and do not tolerate any form of systemic harm, including racism, xenophobia, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or classism. Work that perpetuates hate or erasure will not be considered, and future submissions from such authors will not be read. Our goal is to carry voices forward—especially those often unheard—and to provide a platform for work that speaks across borders or refuses to be fixed in one place.

Chaski Review

Chaski Review is having an open call for submissions for Issue 2!

We’re looking for poetry, prose, visual work, and translations by emerging or established creators.

Chaski Review is a nonprofit literary journal dedicated to voices across borders, generations, and languages. We publish work that embodies movement—whether linguistic, geographic, or artistic—amplifying writers and translators who engage with the uncomfortable, hybridity, displacement, and cultural dialogue. We believe in literature as an act of transmission, a means of resistance, and a site of transformation.

The deadline to submit for this reading period is May 31st!
