The literary journal of The Hartley Residence - a home for writing that explores belief, paradox, and our relationship to the natural world.

The Hartley Residence is an artist residency and land restoration project in Aspers, PA. We invite the weary to experience personal and natural restoration through artist residencies, retreats, farming, and community events.

We aim to cultivate the creation of art that explores and grapples with Judeo-Christian faith, and to encourage all who visit to pursue art-making and land stewardship as hopeful and transformative acts. Our literary journal, released roughly twice a year, is an opportunity to celebrate our community and their work in poetry, prose, and literary fiction.
