Canary

General call

Canary publishes four times a year on solstices and equinoxes. Submissions are accepted only during February, May, August, and November, the months prior to each issue. Submit no more than 5 poems or essays/short stories up to 1500 words. Themed work on losses to the natural world and joys of nature is encouraged. Submissions are sent by email to the Poetry Editor starting May 1 at gailentrekin@gmail.com. Autumn-themed submissions open August 1 for the late-September issue. Submissions may close early if the issue fills.
