A youth literary magazine for ages 14-25 meant to foster creativity and connection through the arts.

Fostering connection and creativity, Artward Bound is a literary magazine whose primary goal is not to find the 'best' applicants, but to publish artists who may have smaller voices or have never even been in the field. Artward Bound's mission statement is to foster a diverse community of creatives and close-knit artists who can finally find a place to call home. This literary magazine is specifically designed to be a: no-strings attached, give us your worst-- we'll take it.
Artward Bound is meant to be a youth platform for all of those who can't put themselves out there as easily as other people may be able to. If you feel like you don't have the skills, or just lack the bravery, Artward Bound is here to be a stepping stone as part of your journey into the publishing industry. As our name suggests, we are here to send you Artward Bound!

August’s theme is: open fields 🌾

The tiny fingers of grass around you gently whisper against your skin. Your feet tingle with the stinging hug of dirt under your callouses. This is it— the start of your journey: an open field. It can be seen undulating across acres of land, like a beautiful creature waving at you to start your walk across its path.

Open Fields Manifestation: ‘Open Fields’ as a theme will be encompassing creativity, enlightenment, self-care, and ultimately the beginning of a journey.

Artward Bound helps creatives to take their first steps artward bound --, to foster a creative community with the courage to give their voice to others.
