Free Shit for Writers is a monthly roundup of free contests, events, resources, and happenings in the indie lit world that don’t cost a damn thing. (P.S., you can subscribe to Free Shit for Writers here).
Our Classifieds section is where you can share FREE writer-relevant stuff—think projects, services, events, and announcements—with a bunch of people who want to see it.
What we're looking for
Classifieds should be relevant to writers and the writing life. This could include:
- Workshops, courses, and writing retreats
- Freelance opportunities and writing gigs
- Writing services (editing, coaching, design)
- New publications, tools, and resources for writers
- Community events and readings
The nitty gritty
Cost: $100 per classified
Format: Up to 200 characters, including:
- A headline
- A link to your project/opportunity/service
- A description of what you're sharing
A few notes: All classifieds are subject to approval. With respect to the name of this newsletter, your listing must be a free opportunity. Once we receive your submission, we'll be in touch to confirm placement and send payment details.
