We ask that you include a 400-character-maximum, third-person author biography. Place this in the designated field on Submittable — not inside your document, please. In place of a cover letter, you may (if you wish) include a note alongside your short bio in the designated field.

Formatting
Poetry Online (also poetry.onl) has no strict style or theme. For written poetry, we ask that you submit 1 to 5 poems in .doc, .docx, or .pdf format. There is no line or page limit. Please make sure all written poems are in one singular file. Visual poems and cine poetry/video art may be submitted in additional imaging formats, including .png, .jpg, .mp4, and .m4v.
Author's rights
We ask for First North American Serial Rights (FNASR) for previously unpublished poems.
